UnderLimit Privacy Policy

What UnderLimit collects
UnderLimit does not collect or transmit personal information, selected images or PDFs, usage data or diagnostics to the developer.
On-device processing
Selected images and, beginning with version 1.1, PDFs are processed in private temporary storage on your device. The original is never modified. PDF processing creates a new flattened visual copy that removes searchable text, links, forms, annotations and other interactive behaviour.
Temporary files
Working copies are removed when you start over and during cleanup on the next launch. iOS may also remove temporary files when it needs storage.
Export control
A result leaves UnderLimit only when you choose an export destination. The selected destination then handles the exported file under its own privacy practices.
Accounts, tracking and third parties
UnderLimit has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud database or third-party software development kit. UnderLimit does not share app data with third parties.
Support requests
If you email for support, your email provider and ours process the information you choose to send. Support providers are used only where their safeguards provide protection consistent with this policy and applicable law. Do not send sensitive images or confidential information.
Support correspondence is deleted within 90 days after the request is resolved, unless longer retention is required by law.
You may withdraw a support request or ask for deletion at any time by emailing Scott.hazlitt@gmail.com. The developer will delete the retained copy, subject to legal obligations and the provider’s backup cycle.
This website
This page uses no analytics, cookies or tracking. The developer does not receive or retain website logs. A hosting provider may temporarily process standard request information to deliver and secure the page under its published privacy and retention practices.
Children
UnderLimit does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
Changes
If UnderLimit’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before the changed version is released.
