Privacy policy
PuckStop is an offline-first hockey goalie stat tracker. Goalies, games, shot events, schedules, and preferences are stored on your device.
The short version
No account. No behavioural analytics. No advertising. No tracking. No developer-operated cloud service. You control exports, backups, and the optional schedule import described below.
What we collect
The developer does not collect data from the app. PuckStop has no account, behavioural analytics, advertising, tracking, or developer-operated cloud service. We do not receive or sell your goalies, games, shot events, schedules, or app usage.
Where your data lives
PuckStop stores its data locally using Apple’s on-device database. If you enable an encrypted iCloud or Finder device backup, Apple may include the app’s data in that backup. Apple, not the PuckStop developer, operates those backup services.
Optional schedule import
You can import a local .ics file without contacting the developer. If you paste an HTTPS or webcal calendar subscription address, PuckStop starts one direct download only after you choose to load it. The app does not save the pasted address or refresh it in the background. A calendar service may redirect that download to another secure address.
The calendar service and any secure redirect destination may receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, as part of the download. The PuckStop developer does not receive the address, the request, or the calendar response.
Exporting and sharing
PuckStop can create a PDF/CSV Stats Package and a JSON backup. You start each export and choose its destination through Apple’s share sheet. PuckStop does not automatically send those files to the developer or another service.
Children’s privacy
PuckStop is designed for parents and coaches tracking youth hockey goalies. The app stores the goalie and game information you choose to enter locally on your device. It does not require a child’s account or contact information, and the developer does not receive the locally stored information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
